Our mission is to improve the oral health and wellbeing of children through comprehensive care, education and advocacy. We support a coordinated statewide approach to oral health, including research and policy development, community and school-based dental education programs, and direct access to preventive dental care services through county public health departments.
How can I protect my teeth from cavities?
We promote the use of fluoride to protect teeth and reduce tooth decay, administers the school-based dental sealant program and supports the community water fluoridation program. We also monitor statewide oral health indicators and provide technical assistance to local health departments, county dental clinics and community groups.
Whether kids are brushing their own teeth or watching their parents do it, they learn about good oral hygiene from everyday life. But establishing good habits early is the best way to set kids up for healthy teeth and a lifetime of good oral health.
That’s why at Advanced Oral Health Kidsgrove, we offer fun activities and educational materials to help children of all ages understand the importance of a well-balanced diet and regular visits to the dentist for oral examinations, cleanings and teeth cleaning.
